Information about consumers’ right of withdrawal and the statutory model withdrawal form.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside their trade, business or profession.)
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day
- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, provided that you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together; or
- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last good, provided that you ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately; or
- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that you ordered goods that are delivered in several partial shipments or items; or
- on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the first good, provided that you entered into a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a specified period.
You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online at Cancel contract (https://alcoro.com/cancel-contract/?lang=en). If you use this online function, we will send you confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (for example, by email) without undue delay, including information about the content of the withdrawal declaration and the date and time it was received.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you submit your withdrawal declaration using the electronic withdrawal function before the withdrawal period expires.
Alternatively, you may exercise your right of withdrawal by informing us (Al Coro GmbH, Hirschhofweg 10, 50765 Cologne, Germany, telephone: +49 221 799913, email: customerservice@alcoro.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
In this case, to meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification concerning the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We will collect the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Section 312g (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- contracts for the supply of goods or the provision of services, including financial services, whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market that are beyond the trader’s control and that may occur within the withdrawal period, in particular services relating to shares, units in open-ended investment funds within the meaning of Section 1 (4) of the German Investment Code and other tradable securities, foreign currencies, derivatives or money market instruments
- contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs
